Ariel is located in Israel’s biblical heartland, the Samarian Hills.

The City of Ariel is an easy trip by car or bus to numerous popular destinations in Israel. Ariel City is 40 km (25 miles) east of the modern-day miracle of Tel Aviv and the ancient and breathtaking Jaffa Port; 40 km west of the historic Jordan River; some 60 km (40 miles) north of the world’s Holy epicenter, Israel’s capital, Jerusalem; and connected to the beautiful Mediterranean coastal plain and the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea areas via easily accessed East-West highways.

Minutes away from the Ariel University Campus are numerous archaeological sites and lovely hiking trails, accessible and to be enjoyed due to the area’s pleasant year-round climate.
